Children – 5-16 years old Accompanied by an adult		$4.00

OUR ECO-TOUR OPTIONS:

» KIWI BIRD FEEDING
Every day at 1:30pm our Kiwi have their main meal

It's a unique opportunity where you'll:

• See our Guide feed the birds with a delicious combination of minced meat, insects, porridge, tofu, sultanas, banana and berries! It's a lovely diet that provides them with everything they need.
  (They do spend a lot of time foraging in the Nocturnal House as well, because there are a lot of natural foods in the natural earth floor for them to hunt)
• Hear about the individual birds and their food preferences
• Meet the people who care for the birds.

» 'THE INSIDE STORY'
Paul – our General Manager, has worked in a diverse range of places. From Asian Elephants to Fijian Falcons, the wilds of Tasmania to the curious critters of the arid Australian Outback, Paul has encountered a wide variety of wildlife. He has even had the occasional snake for a bunk mate! Through these experiences Paul has seen the good, the bad and the ugly of conservation.

Paul invites you to join him on a special Eco-tour of the Kiwi House and Native Bird park to uncover the secrets of the Kiwi House`s success and why he thinks the Kiwi House is the place to be.

This personalised tour will take you behind the scenes. Paul is passionate about a positive future for birds, people and wildlife conservation. Join him to find out why.

Terms & Conditions:

• Cost is $50 per person.
• Tour length is two hours.
• Participants must be a minimum of 8 years of age.
• Tour payment includes general admission to the Kiwi House & Native Bird Park.
• A 50% refund will be made for cancellations made by the customer.
• Tours can be conducted at a time of the customers choosing, subject to availability.
