BEHIND THE SCENES TOURS

Go Behind the Scenes at the Otorohanga Kiwi House

Step beyond the public pathways and discover what really goes into caring for New Zealand’s unique wildlife.

 

Our Behind the Scenes Tour gives you exclusive access to areas not normally open to visitors. You’ll meet the team, learn about our conservation work, and get up close with some of our most iconic native species – including kiwi, tuatara, and more.

 

Perfect for nature-lovers, photographers, or anyone curious about the hidden side of Aotearoa’s wildlife care.

Spaces are limited and tours run on weekdays at 11:15am. Bookings essential.

Please note: A minimum of two participants are required for Behind the scene tours and a maximum of 12 participants.
